About Us
Founded in 2010, A Pathway to Hope is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of homeless dogs and cats and community outreach to further the cause of rescue. We focus on the rescue of special needs animals, northern breed dogs, local rescue of stray / feral cats and all breeds of dogs, as we provide individual, intensive medical and behavioral care to match their needs.
A Pathway to Hope is a needs-based rescue, 100% volunteer and foster based. Every dollar you donate goes directly to the care of the animals we rescue. In addition to individual foster homes, Pathway owns and operates Hope’s Home, a rescue foster home and sanctuary for dogs and cats with special needs who have nowhere else to live. Hope’s Home provides residents with intensive medical and behavioral care to meet their needs and prepare them for forever homes.

"No one could make a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little." Edmund Burke
Fragile Circle ~ "We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan." Irving Townsend.
