Have you ever owned a beautiful fixer-upper with AMAZING potential? Now, add a house full of very special, active foster dogs and cats, and imagine the work we have to do every day to upkeep and improve our home for the animals!

Current Renovation Projects! · New roof ($13,000): Our roof is old and not properly ventilated for our current set up. A new roof is necessary to control the temperature and install proper ventilation in the upstairs dog rooms. · Paneling ($1,000): Our sweet boy Chip has LOTS of energy and is a puppy, meaning that he likes to chew. In order to allow Chip to live in a cage free environment, free roaming when he is in his room, we need ‘Chip-proof’ (aka chew-proof) paneling for our pup! · Mini-splits ($7,500): We were able to raise funding last year to purchase and install a generator as part of our Emergency Planning, but we were not able to raise enough funding for our mini-splits (heat / a/c for the dog rooms), so we are still relying on older units. We will replace this system for the more reliable, energy efficient mini-splits as soon as funding allows. · Septic tank remediation ($6,000): Our septic system keeps clogging! It is not currently draining efficiently or properly, which is an urgent concern that we must address – with suspicions that the original pipe to the septic tank has partially collapsed or has roots growing into it. Please help! · Tiny Cat House final steps: The house has arrived! In order to move in the kitties, we need to connect the electricity ($2,000) and install an HVAC system ($6,000) and accessible plumbing (sink) designated for the tiny house.
…and so the dream continues at Hope’s Home – a unique animal rehabilitation and rescue foster home and sanctuary. With SO many renovations looming over our heads, and so many more lives needing saving…we need YOUR help!
